As I sit here writing, I can hear in the background my children humming and singing while they play. My four year old son is trying to make up his own rhyming lyrics to a melody he’s made up on the piano and my six year old daughter is reading the lyrics for a song she is practicing for a performance.
Music has had such an impact on our lives. And I know it comes mostly from the simple task of playing children ’s music during our day. Together we listen, sing along, dance and even read the lyrics.

We’ll usually sing along to lively songs while we fold the laundry and tidy up. Music may be played while we bake cookies or craft. Un prefer excessive TV which can every now and then distract from our time together, music is something that we can all share together, increases our home life and encourages family time.
