MySpace co-founders Tom Anderson and Chris DeWolfe will be attending the event, which was put together with the cooperation of the Department of Defense’s Armed Forces Entertainment and America Supports You program. The concert will be three hours in length and will be streamed live in high definition on the Operation MySpace profile starting at 11a.m. PT/ 2 p.m. ET.

Starting today visitors to the Operation MySpace profile will be able to leave video and text messages supporting the troops. A best of one-hour version of the concert will be broadcast nationally on the FX cable channel on April 12.

MySpace is a great medium to connect our military members and their families, who serve in 177 countries, to the folks back home, said Allison Barber, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense. “We are so glad to have MySpace as part of the team working with both America Supports You and Armed Forces Entertainment.”
