Also the other response I have to your Live Music Blog, is....you should make it live..in other words, it would be great if you would be saying this stuff on video, and people could see your passion and hear the words. The best reason for this is the low attention span of browsers, not because there is lack of interest, but because there is so much stuff to see. The quicker you can get it out and get the message across, the more effective you will be. If you did that, you would have a great place on Beat-Play. So keep going, and thank you for doing what you are doing!

First off I love you for talking about this. I am an independent artist myself, that knows better than to sign my talents away to a label, or even iTunes. Secondly, I happen to be the founder of a brand new distributor/promoter website, which is created specifically for independent artists of all genres. The site is called Beat-Play, however it is not ready for you yet..and I don't think you for it. It should be in beta testing by late July. Meanwhile, we have a site that will be up officially no later than June 18th, called MusicWithoutLabels.com, that will offer a better explanation of just what Beat-Play is capable of. I can't spill the beans yet, but lets just say, I don't get paid, until you get paid, and when I get paid, it's 5.5% of what price you set, not the other way around, like with a label. So you could sell your cd on Beat-Play for say $6.00, and make $5.67 to split between all creative parties involved. Instead of splitting $1.00 between everyone for a cd that's $10.00! The internet is the best invention in the world! I am 21 years old, and this is my passion. I will be speaking publicly about Beat-Play in Denver, Colorado on June 24th, for the South Park Music Festival, one of the largest gatherings of independent artists in the world. We will be documenting the event heavily. Look out for us..you're one of the firsts to hear..
